A key objective of the design team was to maximise the use of natural light and ventilation by use of a series of internal courtyards, providing a cheerful and therapeutic environment for the delivery of health care services.
Colt has provided a day to day natural ventilation system in two areas, and smoke extract system in all three areas, by installing a number of Coltlite natural ventilators with insulated louvres providing inlet air, and Smoke Extract Fans with Seefire ventilator terminations above each fan.
